We've finally made it to the end of the working week, Hurray! So since my favourite way to celebrate the weekend is by a cocktail I've put together 3 of my favourite cocktail recipes below so that you can celebrate with me.
Cosmopolitan
This seems like a good place to start, a classic and so easy to make. And who doesn't want a pink glass of goodness!
Ingredients:
- 35 ml of vodka
- 15 ml of triple sec
- 15 ml of lime juice
- 15 ml ounce of cranberry juice
- 1 cup of ice
How to:
1. Grab a shaker, chuck all the ingredients in and get shaking
2. Strain and Serve with a lime wedge
Sex on the Beach
If you after an easy drink, this is the one for you! It tends to be more popular during the summer months but who says you can't drag summer into September.
Ingredients:
-25 ml of Vodka
-25 ml of Peach Schnapps
-40 ml of Orange Juice
-20 ml of Cranberry Juice
How to:
1. Grab a shaker, chuck all the ingredients in and get shaking
2. Serve with an orange slice
Tequila Sunrise
Lets chuck a non-vodka based cocktail into the mix to refresh after all those.
Ingredients:
-50 ml of tequila
-fresh orange juice to top up
-1 tbsp grenadine
-1 tbsp of triple sec
How to:
1. Combine the triple sec, tequila and orange juice in a mixing glass and mix
2. Strain into the serving cup and fill with ice
3. Add the grenadine
